Showcase on July 12^th.   

 Palm Desert Theatre Academy is offering an five-week acting class designed just for young actors grades 3-6, and 7-12 (two separate classes). 

This theatre education class will be held at Cal State San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus (see map).  Students will be receive high quality education in theatre and acting in a safe learning environment.  Emphasis on improving on professional acting habits, stage presence, confidence, and life-long skills in speaking and performing in front of an audience.  

• Classes will be led by Master Theatre Teacher David Catanzarite, M.F.A., National Board Certified teacher Karen Lin and other highly qualified teachers.

• Teacher to student ratio is 1:8.

• This academic program consists of daily hands-on workshops in various aspects of theatre arts including acting, stage voice, stagecraft, and theory.  The academy culminates with a showcase for an invited public.
